Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 12, 2026
01Why these guidelines exist
Saaskart is built on authentic, first-hand experience. Reviews, ratings, questions, answers, and discussions are contributed entirely by our community of buyers and users. These guidelines keep that content honest, helpful, and safe.
They apply to everyone who contributes to the Platform — buyers, vendors, and visitors — and complement our Terms of Use. By posting, you agree to follow them.
Our core promise
02Be authentic
Only write about products and services you have personally used or evaluated.
- Each review must reflect your own genuine, first-hand experience.
- One account per person; don't create duplicate or fake accounts.
- Don't post reviews on someone else's behalf or recycle content from elsewhere.
- Incentivized reviews (in exchange for payment, gifts, or discounts) are not allowed.
03Avoid conflicts of interest
- Do not review your own product, your employer's product, or a direct competitor.
- Do not offer or accept compensation in exchange for a review or a rating change.
- Disclose any material relationship you have with a product you write about.
- Vendors must not coordinate, solicit, or filter reviews to skew their score.
04Keep it constructive and respectful
Critical feedback is welcome and valuable — it's the whole point. How you deliver it matters.
- Focus on the product or service, not the people behind it.
- No hate speech, harassment, threats, or discriminatory language.
- No profanity-laden rants, personal attacks, or trolling.
- Be specific: what worked, what didn't, and the context of your use.
05Respect privacy and confidentiality
- Don't share confidential pricing, contracts, or trade secrets.
- Don't post another person's private or personal information.
- Don't publish content you don't have the right to share.
06No spam or manipulation
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Promotional spam, advertising, or link farming.
- Vote manipulation, fake engagement, or coordinated rating attacks.
- Keyword stuffing or content designed to game search and rankings.
- Automated posting, scraping, or bulk submissions.
07Guidance for vendors
Vendors are valued members of the community and are held to the same standards, plus a few specifics:
- You may invite customers to leave honest reviews, but never condition them on a positive rating.
- Respond to reviews professionally — vendor responses are public and on the record.
- Keep listing information accurate and up to date.
- Report reviews you believe violate these guidelines rather than attempting to suppress them.
08Reporting and enforcement
You can flag any content that appears to break these guidelines. Our moderation systems and team review reports and monitor for abuse.
What happens when guidelines are broken
- Content may be edited, unpublished, or removed.
- Repeat or serious violations may lead to account suspension or termination.
- Fraudulent activity may be reported to relevant authorities.
To report a concern, use the in-product report option or email community@saaskart.co.
09Updates to these guidelines
We may refine these guidelines as our community grows. We'll update the “Last updated” date when we do, and continued participation constitutes acceptance.
