Trust & Security

01Our commitment to trust
Trust is the foundation of Saaskart. We invest in protecting your data and in keeping the content on our platform authentic and reliable. This page outlines the practices and safeguards behind that commitment.
Security is a shared responsibility: we secure the Platform, and we give you tools — like strong authentication and account controls — to help protect your account.
02Data protection
- All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS.
- Passwords are stored using strong, one-way hashing — never in plain text.
- Access to production data is restricted and follows least-privilege principles.
- Sensitive secrets and credentials are stored in managed secret stores, not in code.
- Infrastructure runs on reputable cloud providers with physical and network safeguards.
- Backups and recovery processes help protect against data loss.
03Infrastructure & application security
- Network segmentation and firewalls limit exposure of internal systems.
- We follow secure development practices, including code review and dependency monitoring.
- Logging and monitoring help us detect and respond to unusual activity.
- Protections against common web threats (e.g. CSRF, injection, and brute-force attacks) are built in.
04Protecting your account
You can take steps to keep your account secure:
- Use a strong, unique password and never reuse it elsewhere.
- Keep your email account secure, since it's used for recovery.
- Review active sessions and sign out of devices you no longer use.
- Be alert to phishing — we will never ask for your password by email.
05Payment security
Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers such as Stripe and Razorpay. Saaskart does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers. Card data is handled directly by these processors under their own security and compliance programs.
06Content integrity & anti-fraud
Trust isn't only about systems — it's about the content you rely on. Reviews and ratings are user-generated and verified before they affect a product’s score.
- Automated and manual moderation work together to detect fake reviews and manipulation.
- Verification checks help confirm reviewers have genuine experience with a product.
- We never seed, buy, or fabricate reviews or ratings.

07Privacy by design
We collect only the data we need, are transparent about how we use it, and give you control over it. For full detail, see our Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices.
08Responsible disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability, we want to hear from you. We appreciate the security research community’s help in keeping Saaskart safe.
How to report
- Email security@saaskart.co with details and reproduction steps.
- Give us reasonable time to investigate and remediate before any public disclosure.
- Do not access, modify, or delete data that isn't yours, and avoid privacy violations or service disruption while testing.
Good-faith research
09Incident response
We maintain processes to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents. If an incident affects your personal data, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law, and take steps to contain and remediate the issue.
